Dear Parents and Pupils

As you are probably aware Mrs Richardson, our Headteacher, is retiring at the end of this term. The standards she has achieved and maintained during her years at Hillside are remarkable. Her dedication, hard work and drive make her a hard act to follow.

The Governors were determined, when choosing a new Headteacher, that these high standards should be maintained. Indeed, in the initial applications for the post, before the summer holiday, none of the candidates met our criteria.

Now, after two days of intensive interviews, a new Headteacher has been appointed. She is Mrs Anita Gutteridge, who is presently Head in another Norfolk primary school. She had made her current school a ‘high achieving school’ and we feel sure that she will continue her success here at Hillside.
