Before and After School Care
Before and after school childcare is an important consideration for many parents. We have excellent provision through Hilldale on site at school - details below - and we will be expanding available provision in coming months in order to cater for more children.
Separate to Hilldale's daily childcare, we host paid-for after-school clubs within school which run each day on a half-termly basis in order to offer further childcare. These run in addition to our extra-curricular clubs which are provided periodically free of charge by school staff.
Paid-for after school clubs for 2024 are:
Monday - Tennis (temporarily not available Jan 2024)
Tuesday - Musical Theatre and Art Club
Wednesday - Drama
Friday - Multi-sports
These clubs are each run by their own providers.
Hilldale Breakfast and After School Club
The Hilldale Club is based in the Hall at Hillside Avenue Primary and Nursery School.
Linda Hubbard and Sue Donaldson are the owners and leaders of Hilldale Breakfast and After School Club. They work with Helen Howes and Lizzie Gregson to run the daily sessions.
Hilldale has been open since January 2015 and in 2022 takes 25 Children each session. There are plans underway to significantly increase the number of places on offer at Hilldale from September 2023.
The club provides for the children from Hillside Avenue Primary School only.
