Start of the school day

School opens for children at 8:45 each morning.

Access to school is either through the front pedestrian gate or the school field gate.

Doors open at 8:45am and close at 8:55am when school starts.

If children arrive late after 8:55am, the doors will be closed and entry to school is through the main office entrance only. The office staff will ask children about their lunch requirements and they will be marked 'late' in the school register. Children arriving late will be escorted from the office to their classrooms. Please note that persistent late arrival amounts to unauthorised absence and is dealt with in accordance with the Trust attendance policy.

Nursery

Nursery begins at 8:30am and children enter the Nursery at the Nursery classroom door. Nursery ends at 3:30pm (11:30am for those who finish at the end of the morning session) and children are collected from the Nursery door.

End of the school day

School ends at 3:15pm each day. Children in Year 2 and Year 3 leave from the canteen doors onto the small playground (back of school); Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 leave through the top door onto the large playground and Reception/Yr1 leave from their Reception/Yr1 classes door. 

School is open for 32.5 hours each week.
