Day 3
The children had a good night and were up bright and early for breakfast this morning. A quick group photo after breakfast before more activities and then packing up today.
A fantastic 3 days residential everyone - so many things learned and new skills and challenges risen to!
Day 2
A rather rainy day today - but nothing to dampen the children's spirits. Today the children have taken part in more group challenges - how to lift objects from a distance with ropes, building more shelters (no cups of water needed to test waterproofing today!) and team challenges. There has also been the chance to explore living creatures in dike-dipping, and to have great fun in teams on the water in the canoes. Tired by the end of the day, so card games had to be finished off after the children went to bed!
Day 1
The children have had a great first day, with a range of team-building and group challenges, including fire-building and making and testing shelters. With the sunny weather and avoiding the heavy showers that were happening back home, they had to get their own 'rain' to test their shelters!
A super first day everyone.
