Extra curricular activities
As well as providing pupils with high quality teaching and learning experiences we seek to provide extra-curricular opportunities so that they can engage with a wide range of other activites to develop their skills and interests. Sport and physical activity, music, creative clubs, gardening, mindfulness activities and games clubs form the range of extra-curricular opportunities we offer, along with science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) activities like Lego robotics.
We provide these clubs free of charge so that any child interested can take part, and they take place at both lunchtime and after school. We may prioritise places in clubs according to children's particular interests or needs as well as those who have a particular skill or talent.
Through some of our clubs, children are able to take part in intra and inter competitions and performances, such as the KS2 Hockey Competition, Korfball contests, ‘School Games’ competitions, and choir events.
